Guided by Faith, Purpose, and Heritage
"To whom much is given, much is expected."
The founder of Women on the Rise is a woman of deep faith and unwavering purpose, guided by the belief that "to whom much is given, much is expected." Rooted in her African heritage and grounded in gratitude for the opportunities she has embraced, she carries a profound sense of humility and responsibility in every space she enters.
For decades, she cultivated her gift for supporting and uplifting others while working in higher education across multiple colleges and universities. Although she found fulfillment in guiding students outside the traditional classroom, she felt a calling to do more, to expand her impact, to reach further, and to serve women in a deeper, more intentional way.
Today, she is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, a role that allows her to use her voice, compassion, and insight to guide individuals, couples, and families through life challenges. She is known for her genuine presence, her calm wisdom, and her ability to be a grounding point for those navigating emotional and mental struggles. She considers this work not just a profession, but her life's purpose that cultivates deeper meaning to her existence.
